What Shopvia does today

Each section below is built and working. Each says what you control and, in one honest sentence, what it does not do. Things not built yet are listed at the bottom under Coming next.

Live today

One-tap COD with an OTP after the order

What it does

The buyer enters a phone number, name and address, picks Cash on Delivery and taps once. A real Shopify order is created. If you turn it on, an SMS code confirms the phone after the order is placed.

What you control

COD on or off. Minimum and maximum order value. A quantity limit. Pincode and state lists. An optional COD charge. Whether the code is sent for no order, every COD order or only high-risk ones. A check for a repeat COD order for the same product from the same phone within 7 days, which you can switch off.

What it does not do

It never asks for a code before the order exists. Codes go by SMS through your own MSG91 account; automatic WhatsApp confirmation is switched off until it is verified with a provider.

Live today

UPI and card payment, and the pay-now saving

What it does

Online payment through your own gateway account: UPI apps (PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm, BHIM or another app) or a QR code on desktop, cards, net banking and wallets. The order is created only after the gateway confirms the payment. If a payment fails, the buyer sees a plain reason and can retry on the same order. A buyer who chose COD can later pay online from the order page and save the difference between the COD price and the online price, when there is one.

What you control

Razorpay works today; Cashfree and PayU are built and are switched on after sandbox checks. The incentive for paying online: none, a flat amount, a percentage, free shipping or a free gift. The order of the payment rows.

What it does not do

It puts no prepaid offer on your product page; the incentive shows inside the checkout and after the order. There are no EMI or gateway offers yet, and a buyer cannot type a UPI id by hand.

Live today

Partial COD

What it does

The buyer pays a small advance online and the rest in cash on delivery. The Shopify order is created as partly paid, with the balance due on delivery.

What you control

It is switched off by default. Choose a flat advance or a percentage (rounded down to whole rupees). You can also pick it as the action for a risk band, so those buyers get partial COD instead of full COD.

What it does not do

There is no separate partial-COD charge. How each courier or shipping aggregator reads the balance on a partly paid order is not verified here, so check with yours before you switch it on.

Live today

Pincode autofill

What it does

On the sixth digit of the pincode, the city and state fill in from an India Post pincode list that we host ourselves. No call goes from the buyer's browser to a third party.

What you control

Autofill of city and state, pincode validation, COD allow or deny lists by pincode, and COD switched off for states you choose.

What it does not do

It does not check whether your courier delivers to that pincode.

Live today

The order page buyers can use

What it does

Every order gets a link. The page shows the status from Shopify fulfilment events, the items and the totals. The buyer can change the delivery address before dispatch, ask to cancel, or pay online for a COD order. A buyer can also find an order with the order number, phone number and a one-time code.

What you control

How long address edits (2 hours by default) and cancellations (24 hours by default) stay open, and which actions show. After 7 days the address is masked unless the buyer confirms with a code.

What it does not do

Buyers can change the address and cancel; they cannot change items or quantity yet. There are no courier scans or return requests yet, so the timeline comes from Shopify fulfilment events only.

Live today

Abandoned checkout reminder

What it does

One SMS reminder about a checkout the buyer left without ordering. It goes only to a number typed under the line that names the reminder, at most once per checkout and once per phone per store in 24 hours, never after an order or an online payment in progress, and never between 21:00 and 09:00 IST. A reply of STOP stops it. The admin lists abandoned checkouts with a Remind button and a ready WhatsApp link per row.

What you control

It is off unless you turn it on. You set the delay and the message.

What it does not do

It sends one reminder, not a sequence. Automatic WhatsApp sending is switched off until it is verified with a provider, so WhatsApp is a link you send by hand. It does not create draft orders.

Live today

RTO risk by band

What it does

Every COD order gets a score from points for: earlier returned or refused orders from that phone in your store, a junk-looking number, the same address used with another phone, a weak address, a pincode with a high return rate once it has 20 or more orders, an order placed at night, an order value above your usual top 10 percent, more than one unit, and an open COD order from the same phone. Under 30 is low, 30 to 59 is medium, 60 or more is high. Points are taken off for a phone with an earlier delivered order. The RTO page shows measured outcomes by band, pincode prefix and payment method, with a labelled estimate of RTO saved.

What you control

For each band: allow COD as usual, offer partial COD, ask for online payment, or block the order. By default only the high band is asked to pay online. You can override any decision from the admin.

What it does not do

A score does not predict one particular order, and we do not claim it lowers your RTO. The RTO page shows what actually happened on your own orders.

Live today

The merchant admin

What it does

A checkout editor with a live preview (text, fields, labels, button style, colours, your logo stored on your own Shopify CDN, payment row order, visibility rules). Orders tooling: a list with risk, status and OTP state, filters and CSV export; an unverified queue with a ready WhatsApp message and a Mark verified button; an optional hold or cancel for COD orders left unverified after hours you set. Payments: connect your gateway keys, which are checked, stored encrypted and never shown back, and a payments ledger with a needs-attention filter. Analytics: form opens, orders, revenue, conversion rate, average order value, a UTM table, IST day ranges and CSV export.

What you control

Every rule above, from one admin inside Shopify. Sign-in is your normal Shopify admin sign-in.

What it does not do

Settings save live; the preview shows a change before you save, but there is no publish step or version history. There are no team roles beyond Shopify staff accounts and no support ticket system.

Live today

Ad tracking

What it does

A purchase is sent to your own Meta pixel and Conversions API, Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads (with enhanced conversions) from the browser and the server, with the same event id so it is counted once, across reloads and tabs. Each order has a send log with retry, and an offline conversions CSV is available.

What you control

Your own pixel and account ids, the events that fire and a test event code.

What it does not do

We do not promise more sales or a better return on ad spend. We only make sure each purchase is reported once.

Live today

Cart drawer

What it does

Your theme's cart drawer can be replaced by ours: a free shipping bar, savings, a coupon field and a free gift on prepaid orders.

What you control

Whether the drawer replaces the theme cart, the free shipping bar and the gift.

What it does not do

If anything fails to load, the theme's own cart and checkout take over. It does not push extra items.

Coming next. Not live.

Coming next

These are planned and not built yet. We give no dates, and nothing here should be counted on when you decide.

  • Order editing after placement beyond the address and cancel: items and quantity, with a cut-off that follows your dispatch time.
  • COD confirmation on WhatsApp and COD rules. Automatic WhatsApp sending stays off until it is verified with a provider.
  • Abandoned checkout sequences with more than one reminder, all under recorded consent.
  • Returns, exchanges, refunds and a tracking portal with courier updates.
  • Offers for paying online from your gateway, and more partial COD tools.
  • Roles: who on your team may reveal addresses or export orders.
